I wish I could give five stars for this clinic as I have been a loyal patient there for at least the last 18 years or... more. I have always received excellent care. But the last few years, every single one of my appointments has been cancelled and rescheduled by staff there for one reason or another. Every single one. It is getting highly frustrating. I don't understand why this keeps happening to me. I am thinking about switching to another dentist. I have a very busy schedule and it's very inconvenient when my appointments are constantly having to be rescheduled, especially when I have been such a loyal customer for so many years. I also have a medical condition that makes it very important for me to stay on top of routine dental cleanings/care every six months. Sometimes my appointments have been pushed out to seven or eight months in between due to cancellations and rescheduling on the part of Lake Superior Dental.read more

Everyone from the front desk to the dentist himself was very kind from start to finish. Wisdom tooth was causing me a... lot of pain and they were able to pull it out the next day. The Dental assistant who helped me out was amazing and also great at what she does. Dr. Anderson seemed to genuinely care and even with how extremely busy he was he took the time to explain everything and answer any questions I had. I am lucky to have very good dental insurance so it only cost me $110 would have been about $500 with no insurance. On top of it all I barely feel any pain the next day.read more

Dr. Jeff Polzin is the most caring compassionate person I’ve ever met in my life. You know right away when he talks to... you what a professional he is. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have him as my dentist. He cares about every patient. Everyone at the office from the dentist to the hygienists to the receptionist are so awesome. I never worry when I go here because they take such good care of me. I would definitely recommend this business to my friends and family.read more

This was my first scheduled cleaning and exam since the pandemic and Dr. Scott Polzin was my regular dentist. My... hygienist, Justine, was energetically pleasant and adept at caring for my teeth and oral health. Dr Jeff Polzin explained clearly how my oral health and teeth condition are. Like his dad. I was pleasantly greeted, the kindly waited in the waiting area for only about ten minutes while looking at a picture... book of the north shore.Then led to the procedure room where my Dr. Took care of a tooth with a fast acting filling in a decent time and was told I can eat anytime because the filling is that quick to set. I’ve always had a positive experience at Lake Superior Dental, from cleanings to various procedures. For cleanings I... have had a few hygienists, every single one has been thorough, kind, and polite. Dr. Anderson also does a great job at explaining everything to you before and during your appointment. All of the staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. If you have any questions, they will gladly answer them. The office itself is very clean and efficient as well. The staff and Dr. Meaghan Morrel-Hout were outstanding. I lost a crown on Easter Sunday. Called several other... dentists in town they were the only ones that could get me in today 04/18. The whole appointment from filling out paperwork, exam, and gluing my crown back on took about an hour. I will definitely come back everyone was so friendly.read more

Dr. Morello-Huot was excellent & comfortable to talk with. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was very gentle & answered all my questions. I was a walk in patient and needed a tooth pulled that was loose. The staff was very helpful and they were able to do... it that very day. Well it turned to be a broken tooth that was loose. They had to also remove the ends that were not loose and shaped like a longhorn steers. They did a great job and I am writing this review 6 hours later with very little discomfort after following the directions they gave me. I am very happy about the results. Thanks to all of the staff that worked on me.read more

I can’t say enough positive things about this dental office and the staff! I made a major decision at had a fairly... young age to have all my teeth removed and have dentures with some implants. Dr. Bartlam, along with his assistant Heidi have been working with me for The past 10 months. Many times talking me off my ledge, easing my mind, and comforting tears when I was worried. Doctors and staff always take time to explain and make me feel comfortable. Several options were given for financial... payments until I found the one that worked for me.
